It is also in the center of the culture area in Taichung. Two national monuments are near the campus：Taichung Martyrs' Shrine and Taichung Confucius Temper. Martyrs' Shrine and Taichung Confucius Temper next to Shuang Shih junior high school. The two monuments are important influential cultural buildings. Every year, many commemorations are celebrated there. Being the neighborhood of them, Shuang Shi junior high school is affected deeply by them. The students in Shuang Shi can develop good behavior.
